Blinde voksne 2016

The conditions for adult blind people have been highlighted in previous studies, such as SFI's 2010 survey on living conditions for the blind and partially sighted and a study by Finn Amby. The previous studies have shown that the situation of the group is similar to the situation that SHILD has shown applies to people with disabilities in general. In addition, there are some problems, which particularly apply to the blind. General issues for all groups of people with disabilities for example, are those linked to community participation, discrimination, violence, and relationships, while issues such as health, education and employment and getting from place to place are more specific for the group. Furthermore, the maintenance is a problem that is becoming more relevant for all disability groups.
