A study of alcohol treatment for socially vulnerable

SFI - The Danish National Centre for Social Research (SFI) investigates the alcohol treatment offered to socially vulnerable people for the Council for Socially Disadvantaged (Rådet for Socialt Udsatte). The study will provide an overview of 1) requests for and possibly unmet need for treatment of alcohol abuse among socially vulnerable citizens, 2) the opportunities and barriers socially vulnerable citizens experience in relation to getting opportunities for receiving alcohol treatment, and 3) how socially vulnerable citizens experience alcohol treatment the alcohol treatment they receive, including possible barriers this group may experience. In addition to these issues, the study will also shed light on municipal services for socially vulnerable citizens with alcohol abuse in selected case municipalities.
