Campbell Colloquium in Copenhagen next summer

The research network, Campbell Collaboration will be holding its annual Colloquium in Copenhagen next summer. 150 researchers interested in systematic reviewing and the impacts of social interventions will gather for three days. Focus will be on methodological training and strengthening international co-operation.

The Colloquium will be held from the 29th to 31th of May 2012 in the DGI-byen conference center located in the middle of Copenhagen. During the three days of the Colloquium there will be lots of opportunity to participate in methodological training. Besides this, this year’s Colloquium will offer presentations on the latest knowledge from the network, as well as plenary speakers and possibilities for networking.

The Campbell Collaboration is an international research network with participating researchers from a wide range of countries. The network produces and disseminates systematic reviews of the effects of social interventions, especially in the fields of education, crime and justice, international development, and social welfare. By summarising research about a specific intervention and then communicating it, the network makes an effort to pass on knowledge from the ‘research world’ to practitioners. The aim is to help policymakers and practitioners in making well-informed decisions.

All researchers and others interested in systematic reviewing and the effects of social interventions are invited to participate in the Colloquium. Registration will open in December 2011.
